bp-COR is a product used as an oxidation inhibitor to stop the rusting process on Corten steel surfaces when rusting has been caused by act-COR.
If you spray bp-COR on the product and then it rains, the surface is washed off and the surface rust layer may run off. Patina oxidation marks may be visible on nearby surfaces for 4–5 months. Durable protection develops over time (4–5 months) in different environmental conditions.
Oxidation is stopped and the product becomes grease-free and smooth. The oxidising agent can be used indoors (for walls, ceilings, decorations, etc.) or outdoors, but to achieve full product protection, different gloss levels, etc., we recommend using varnish.
bp-COR is a liquid concentrated emulsion. During use it must be diluted 50% with water (avoid water with a high calcium content).
During use the product is milky in colour, which disappears after complete drying. The end result is a thin layer that may make the original artificially induced rust tones slightly darker.
