Glossy polyurethane varnish bz-COR
This glossy Corten steel varnish is intended for outdoor use. It is a one-component varnish that gives surfaces a strong protective layer and must be used on top of the protective bz-COR varnish. The latter acts as a bonding layer, ensuring that the polyurethane varnish is not applied to a water-based product (e.g. fixer bp-COR). This provides much stronger adhesion compared to using the varnish directly on the fixer. Please note that over time the varnish loses its original gloss due to sun, rain and other weather conditions and looks more like a semi-gloss varnish (this happens with practically all glossy varnishes).
VERY IMPORTANT: read the product’s technical data and safe use instructions to ensure correct use and to understand how the product should be used to achieve the desired result in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Before applying any varnish, oxidation must be stopped with fixer bp-COR and the surface must be allowed to dry for at least 48 hours. Depending on the varnish type, bz-COR varnish must first be used, which acts as a film between the base surface (oxidation + fixation) and the selected varnish. In this case always use bz-COR varnish first, then the product bz-COR POLYURETHANE Gloss.
