act-COR is a chemical product used to start rusting in record time (2–3 hours). It is a high-quality and innovative product that helps achieve the desired professional result on Corten steel surfaces.
The patina-release activator act-COR is used only on a prepared and cleaned surface:
if the Corten steel is cold-rolled (Corten A), it is enough to degrease it thoroughly and clean off all dirt;
if the Corten steel is hot-rolled (Corten B), it must be degreased and the hard mill scale layer removed.
For maximum effect, we recommend using this product with a spray. If you want to achieve different rust shades, the surface must be coated several times and you must wait until the surface is completely dry after the first coating (2–3 hours). Drying time depends on environmental or climatic conditions.
