As Corten steel becomes increasingly popular worldwide and has more and more applications, designers have also started offering it in interior design (walls, doors, ceilings, columns, etc.) and in the manufacture of furniture and small design elements.

However, because customers usually want to avoid cold metal products and structures in interiors, this option is often abandoned. At the same time, some customers may want to give certain spaces a distinctive character, refresh furniture, etc.

The question is how to solve this? What means can be used to achieve such colour, effect and patterns?

We offer a unique solution – Corten steel-based paint (meaning it contains Corten steel additives).

You only need a properly cleaned and primed surface (depending on the type of surface to be painted – wood, plastic, concrete, plasterboard, etc.) and b-COR paint. Since after the paint dries the surface acquires the same properties as Corten steel, the Corten steel activator act-COR must be used for further processing (to create oxidation) according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, which you can find here.

The texture you achieve depends on how act-COR is used, the tools (spray, roller, brush, sponge, etc.) and your preferences (even colour, mottled, worn surface, etc.).
