This polyurethane varnish consists of two components in a ratio of 10:1. It is a clear medium-viscosity varnish with a very short drying time. This product forms an extremely durable layer on outdoor Corten steel surfaces. It adheres well to bz-COR varnish, leaving a smooth/even velvet finish.
VERY IMPORTANT: read the product’s technical data and safe use instructions to ensure correct use and to understand how the product should be used to achieve the desired result in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Make sure that bz-COR POLYURETHANE SAT-EX varnish is used on cold-rolled Corten steel or hot-rolled Corten steel that has been cleaned of scale.
Before applying any varnish, oxidation must be stopped with fixer bp-COR and the surface must be allowed to dry for at least 48 hours. Depending on the varnish type, bz-COR varnish must first be used, which acts as a film between the base surface (oxidation + fixation) and the selected varnish. In this case always use bz-COR varnish first, then the product bz-COR POLYURETHANE SAT-EX.
